Dr Polychronis Koutsakis, School of Engineering and Information Technology

Polychronis is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Engineering and Information Technology. He is a Senior Member of the IEEE and a member of the Australian Computing Society. Polychronis’ research interest focuses on the design, modelling and performance evaluation of computer networks and on data science. Polychronis used the funds to travel to Chania, Greece to attend the 19th IEEE International Symposium on a World of Wireless, Mobile and Multimedia Networks (WoWMoM) 2018 of which he has the honour of serving as General Chair and where he presented a one-hour presentation to the WoWMoM steering committee to promote Perth’s potential to host the conference.
