Associate Professor David Miller, School of Veterinary and Life Sciences

David is an Associate Professor within the School of Veterinary and Life Sciences at Murdoch University, his main research interests include the physiology, behaviour and welfare of domesticated animals. Improving the welfare standards of animals raised for human use is an area of research with a high level of scientific and public interest, both nationally and internationally.  He will use the award to travel to the International Society of Applied Ethology (ISAE) conference in Edinburgh 2016 to express interest in bringing the 2019 conference to Western Australia.
