Edith Cowan University

Funded by the Perth Convention Bureau under its Aspire Program, the Professional Development Awards consists of one $5,000 grant that will be presented to a Edith Cowan University staff member to assist in their personal and professional development through attendance at a relevant international conference in their chosen field of endeavour.

ASPIRE 2020

Applications for the 2020 Aspire Awards will open on Monday 2 March and close on Monday 10 April 2020.  

Applications will be submitted through the online application form which will be accessible as of the open date. Applicants will be asked to submit their CV along with answers to the following questions:

  • Please tell us about yourself, your education, current employment and any associations/professional organisations that you belong to. (maximum 500 words)
  • Please tell us about the conference you’d like to attend and why it would be beneficial to you or your organisation. Tell us if you know of any possibility of this conference being hosted in Western Australia in the future (maximum 500 words)
  • Please tell us about the organisation/association that runs the conference you’d like to attend, your involvement with them any career highlights you have to date (maximum 500 words)
  • Please tell us about Western Australia’s research/industry strengths in this area. Are there any Western Australian leaders in the field (maximum 500 words)

A free information session will be held at the Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre on Tuesday 17 March 2020.
