Kevin Skipworth CVO
PCB Chairman

Kevin was appointed Consultative Director and Chairman on 21 November 2016. Kevin has had a distinguished career in the Western Australian public sector. He served successive State Governments as Private Secretary for four Ministers of the Crown in various portfolios.   Kevin also served the last five Governors of Western Australia as Official Secretary and Chief Executive Officer, Governor's Establishment.  Prior to taking up his appointment as Chairman of the Perth Convention Bureau in November 2016, Kevin was the Agent-General of the Western Australian Government based in the London office.

Ian Gay
PCB Vice Chairman 

Ian Gay is currently Chairman, Australia's North West Tourism.   He previously worked with Qantas from 1970 to 2015.  He graduated with a BA in Economics and English Literature from Macquarie University in Sydney.  During his time at Qantas, Ian has held a wide variety of senior positions, including passenger systems, corporate marketing, overseas management, international alliances and sales.   

Michael Altieri
Director Events & Conferences
Crown Perth

Michael Altieri has been in his current role of Director Events & Conferences since 2002.  This role has given Michael the opportunity to preside over and direct the Convention facilities at Crown Perth and to specialise in the Events and Convention market.  Michael has also been responsible for managing both the former Burswood Dome and Golf Club F&B operations.   He also managed and was part of the Crown Limited takeover in 2004 and became directly responsible for the implementation of Crown's 'Best Practices' and Structure Changes.  Michael has been a Board Director of PCB since 2013.


Nigel Keen, State Manager LSE, Education, B&I WA
Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre 

Nigel leads an executive team across all business activities and maintained stakeholder relationships with industry and State Government Agencies. Previously, as Director of Operations at PCEC for two years, Nigel's role was to oversee a number of departments that handled more than 500 events annually and were attended by over 600,000 people. His areas of responsibility included operations, catering, retail, building services and maintenance, venue security and cleaning services.

Prior to that he was the Executive Chef at PCEC and had been an Executive Chef in WA for over 10 years.

Renee Bennett 
Director, Encanta Event Management

Renee is Director of professional conference organiser, Encanta Event Management (formerly EECW Pty Ltd).  Renee commenced her career as an Event Assistant with Congress West and progressed her way through the industry before joining EventEdge in 2002.   She has worked with the Principals of EventEdge and Congress West to see the formation of EECW in 2006 which was rebranded to Encanta in 2016.  

Grant Brinklow 
Chief Executive Officer, Sandalford Wines 

Grant was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Sandalford Wines in 2005.  He has full responsibility for the entire Wine and Wine Tourism operations in both the Swan Valley and Margaret River and reports directly to the Prendiville Family.   He also has responsibility for managing the company's wine export duties and spends time with the company's distribution partners in more than 30 countries.   

David Constantine
General Manager,  Parmelia Hilton Perth 

David has worked extensively with Hilton Worldwide for over 25 years.   His experience as General Manager, Parmelia Hilton Perth, covers all areas of the hotel's operations, food and beverage and business development.

Living in Perth and being part of the business community for many years, David has seen the city develop and prosper.   He has a thorough understanding of the challenges and opportunities of the convention market.   The growth of the city and what it has to offer has made it a much more attractive destination for conventions and David sees this set to continue for many years.

Gaye McMath
Corporate Advisor and City of Perth Commissioner

Gaye was formerly Chief Operating Officer at The University of Western Australia responsible for the University services of Financial Services, Human Resources, Campus Management and Venues Management. Gaye has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Melbourne, a Masters of Business Administration from Melbourne Business School and completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.   She is a fellow of CPA Australia and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Nicole Moody
Managing Director, Hunter Communications Pty Ltd

Nicole has 28 years' experience across the fields of public relations, corporate affairs, journalism, marketing, Government relations and corporate social responsibility.   She has extensive experience and expertise in developing and implementing strategic public relations and marketing campaigns, issues and crisis management, government relations, stakeholder engagement, business development and corporate social responsibility programs and media relations.
