As a leader, Gareth focuses on open communication and building genuine relationships with clients, stakeholders and his team. Gareth seeks progressive and creative strategies towards securing increased Business Events for Western Australia.

Gareth has travelled the world, but loves that Western Australia is home. He enjoys spending time with his young family and getting out for a few waves when there’s some surf.

Kara provides Executive Support for CEO Gareth Martin, returning to PCB following a number of years in communications and marketing at the State Library of Western Australia.

With a young family and home renovating, spare time is a thing of the past but to relax Kara loves a coast walk or ride followed by a strong coffee.




Narelle Cant

Director Strategy & Corporate Relations

Narelle Cant

Narelle brings to the Bureau more than two decades of experience in state and federal government, where she held leadership roles in Ministerial offices and the Office of the Premier.  Narelle is responsible for developing the Bureau’s long-term strategy to enhance the reputation of Perth and Western Australia as a leading business event destination, and maximise the economic and social impact of business events in the State.

As a born and bred West Australian, Narelle is passionate about promoting this State’s many advantages, from its enviable lifestyle to its innovative people and industries.  In her spare time, Narelle likes keeping fit, gardening and reading.   



Trish McKay

Director Corporate Services/Company Secretary

Trish McKay

Trish is responsible for Corporate Services - including managing PCB's finances and the human resource aspects of PCB such as payroll, staff training and development.

An industry all-rounder, Trish also brings a broad range of tourism and hospitality experience to her role having worked with PCOs and in hotels. Trish likes spending time with her family and travelling, aiming to see all Seven Wonders of the World.





Director Business Development - Associations

Becky Riley

Becky provides leadership to the Perth Convention Bureau Business Development team, working with all team members to ensure Perth is presented as an attractive and competitive destination for business events. A dedicated leader and strategic thinker, Becky has a strong work ethic. She believes Perth and Western Australia offer unique, world class facilities and experiences for business events visitors, and ensures the Perth Convention Bureau team have a proactive approach to promoting the State of Western Australia.

With a Bachelor in Events Management, Becky moved to Perth from the UK in 2013 and fell in love with the lifestyle and natural beauty of Perth.


Linda Adams

Senior Business Development Manager

Linda Adams

Linda joins the Bureau as a Senior Business Development Manager and a member of the Business Development team. Linda is responsible for developing bid strategies to secure national and international association conferences in WA.

Linda joins the Bureau with extensive experience in the tourism sector having worked in senior business development and sales roles in commercial aviation for the past 21 years. She is passionate about promoting and supporting WA as a conference destination and ensuring visitors have the opportunity to explore all that WA has to offer.

Having moved back to Australia from the UK in 2011, Linda spends most weekends at Perth’s beaches enjoying long walks and the sunshine.




Business Development Manager 

Mitchel McCuish

Having moved to Perth in recent years from a regional WA country town, Mitchel completed a Diploma in Event Management graduating with a Certificate of Excellence in Events. Prior to joining PCB Mitchel had been working as an Event Technician doing Audio Visual and Lighting for Corporate Events. Mitchel enjoys spending his weekends exploring Perth bars and restaurants. 




Christine Parker

Christine Parker 

Christine is originally from Durban, South Africa and has lived in Perth for 14 years. She has a Bachelor Degree in Tourism and Events Management. With a passion for events and tourism her extensive and practical experience in business development has been influenced from working with international hotel brands in Perth, Western Australia and on the Great Barrier Reef, Queensland. Also a member of the Business Development team, Christine is responsible for developing bid strategies to secure national & international association conferences in WA.

In her spare time, Christine enjoys being active and checking out Perth’s ever growing food and wine scene.

Malcolm Farrell-Mitchell

Malcolm is originally from Albany and has lived all over Western Australia. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Tourism and Events Management and a postgraduate degree in International Marketing.

Also a member of the Business Development team, Malcolm is responsible for developing bid strategies to secure national & international association conferences in WA. Malcolm enjoys cryptic crosswords, Doctor Who and travelling wherever and whenever he can.




Bridget Brown

Business Development Manager

Bridget Brown

Bridget joined PCB as a Business Development Manager while in the final stages of completing her Diploma of Events Management through North Metropolitan TAFE. She had completed certificates in Business, Retail/Hospitality and Events Management prior to undertaking her Diploma, and has experience working in all three areas. Bridget is also the main point of contact at the Bureau for confirmed business events inbound to the State.

Bridget is well travelled and enjoys visiting different places in Western Australia. One of her most memorable WA experiences was travelling around Exmouth and visiting Turquoise Bay in the Cape Range National Park where she snorkeled with a variety of magnificent sea creatures. Bridget enjoys coaching rowing, spending time with her friends and family, and relaxing in the warm weather while enjoying a cocktail.


Perth Convention Bureau Domenica Pulver

Business Development Manager

Domenica Pulver

Exchanging the snowy mountains for the sunny coast of Western Australia, Domenica Pulver made the move from Switzerland to Perth and joins the Associations team as a Business Development Manager. With a bachelor’s degree in Tourism Management and seven years’ experience in the business events industry working for Swiss organisations MCH Group and KKL Luzern, Domenica is passionate about promoting her new home as a business events destination.

In her free time Domenica loves to travel and explore new destinations, and enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, swimming and soaking in the sun. An avid snowboarder whilst living in Switzerland, Domenica plans to take up surfing now that she’s in Perth.


Hannah Beattie

Destination Marketing Coordinator 

Hannah Beattie

As the Destination Marketing Coordinator for the Perth Convention Bureau, Hannah enjoys a varied role assisting the business development team in confirming business events for Western Australia, coordinating corporate communications, and assisting State based business events.

Hannah has a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations and Journalism and has a background working and volunteering in the not-for-profit sector, primarily in the health industry. Hannah is an avid camper, and enjoys getting off the beaten track to discover the wild, untamed beauty of rural Western Australia.



Connie Ling

Senior Business Development Manager - Corporate & Incentive

Connie Ling

Connie moved to Perth with her family from Shanghai, China in 2016. Before she joined PCB, Connie worked for the Hong Kong Tourism Board for 6 years, and possesses extensive business development experience from working for international hotel brands in Shanghai and Western Australia. Connie's role at PCB is to grow the number of C&I visitors to Perth and Western Australia, and she is passionate about promoting WA as a destination for business events.

In her spare time, Connie enjoys exploring the food & wine scene of WA with her family.



Perth Convention Bureau Alex Ng

Senior Business Development Manager - Corporate & Incentive

Alex Ng

Originally hailing from Singapore, Alex Ng joins the Bureau as a Senior Business Development Manager and a member of the Corporate & Incentive team with a particular focus on South East Asia. Alex’s background includes over a decade of experience with Singapore Airlines, the last being as Manager Western Australia, and a stint thereafter as an Inbound Tour Operator in Perth.

He is passionate about promoting Western Australia as a premium destination for corporate meeting and incentive business and looks forward to welcoming visitors from all over Asia to enjoy WA’s gourmet food & wine, friendly people and wildlife, beautiful beaches and stunning sunsets while hosting their business events.



Danielle Mauro

Membership Manager

Danielle Mauro

Danielle is responsible for managing the relationship with PCB’s two hundred members, familiarisation programs and member networking events. Danielle joins PCB with a wide range of experience within the industry, having worked within five star hotels and conventions across Australia.

Danielle enjoys travelling within Australia and discovering Perth’s hidden treasures.




Zorica Mitchell

Sales Coordinator

Zorica Mitchell

Zorica joins the Business Development Team as a Sales Coordinator after recently completing her Diploma of Event Management. She has primary responsibility for assisting with the day to day activities of the Business Development team, with priority given to administrative tasks and the timely recording of data in the CRM system. Zorica coordinates familiarisation and site inspection itineraries for the Business Development and Stakeholder Relations teams, and works with company data across all departments to streamline reports.

In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, picnics, and browsing markets. Zorica is a keen gardener and loves wandering around nurseries to find plants to add to her constantly growing plant collection.



Melissa Chinnery

Accounts Administrator

Melissa Chinnery

Melissa is responsible for day to day accounting and administrative duties relating to all suppliers and members as well as managing all business development claims. Melissa has extensive experience in this field with over a decade in similar roles.

Melissa spent 5 years in the Margaret River Region amongst the lush grape vines, beautiful forest and never-ending coastlines. Recently relocating to Perth, Melissa enjoys spending time with her family with regular walks no matter the weather and discovering the best eats Perth has to offer.
