Day One
Arrival Day. Welcome sunset drinks at ‘Okari Tree Lawn’ at Cable Beach and ‘Taste of Broome’ dinner at Buddha’s Sanctuary, Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa.
Day Two
Today, an introduction to the fascinating pearling industry of Broome. Take a short journey to Western Australia’s multi award winning ‘Willie Creek Pearl Farm’ where you will be warmly welcomed by your hosts. Discover how the rare and beautiful ‘Australian South Sea Pearl’ is produced. During the morning, half of the group will be given a live demonstration on how the seeds are planted into the live oyster shell while the other half enjoys a delightful and informative cruise along Willie Creek. Later, relax in the gorgeous surroundings for a sumptuous lunch.
After lunch groups will swap over for the demonstration and cruise followed by a tempting look at the stunning pearl pieces created by Willie Creek's in-house jewellers where you will undergo the Willie Creek quiz challenge to win your very own ‘piece of Broome’ before heading back to Broome.
This evening’s dinner will be at the beautiful outdoor venue of ‘The Pearl Luggers’ in Chinatown. Enjoy an evening under the stars and by the sails of two historic pearling vessels as classic historic pearling movies are projected onto the sails, and with entertainment provided by Broome’s very own Pigram Brothers.
Day Three
After an early breakfast, you will be collected for an exhilarating scenic flight over the Buccaneer Archipelago. This great adventure will include a stop at Cape Leveque for a quick swim and morning tea and then back onboard to experience the tidal phenomena of the Horizontal Waterfalls, the islands of the Buccaneer Archipelago, the pearl farms in Talbot Bay and the open cut mines at Cockatoo and Koolan Islands. Return to Broome at approximately midday.
Lunch will be at Matso’s, the Kimberley’s multi award winning microbrewery where you will be greeted by their German Master Brewer for a tasting sensation. Beers include The Smokey Bishop, Monsoonal Blonde, Hit the Toad, Divers Porter and not forgetting their famous Matso’s Ginger Beer. You will also be provided with an informative insight of this historical building followed by a delicious lunch in their restaurant which overlooks Roebuck Bay.
Tonight’s gala dinner will be held at Sun Pictures, the world’s oldest operating picture gardens and a unique Broome experience. During dinner short films will be projected onto the screen for your enjoyment and later a band will entertain you as you dance the evening away.
Day Four
Departure day. Rest and relax around the resort or take one last stroll along Cable Beach.
