Seed funding for inaugural conferences
If you’ve got an idea for a new conference we’d love to hear about it. We can help organisations and individuals bring to fruition new conference ideas with up to $5,000 available on application.
Scholarships and Awards
Perth Convention Bureau offers a range of scholarships and awards each year in conjunction with the City of Perth, City of Mandurah, Giving West, Telethon Kids Institute and Western Australian universities. These are awarded to individuals representing a not-for-profit association, government agency or academic institution. The aim of the program is to assist the individual’s personal and professional development, either through attendance at a relevant international conference, or by undertaking further study in their chosen field of endeavour. Funding ranges from $5,000 to $10,000 per award.
Funding for bidding activities
Funding support is also available for bidding activities such as your travel costs to present the bid interstate or overseas; or we can bring the decision makers to Western Australia to see the destination for themselves and meet with their local counterparts.
